Honors: Professional football scout for the Green Bay Packers, coached in Charlotte for 23 years, served as Athletic Director through 1970, State Championships in 1968 & 69, 1958 named Detroit Free Press High School Coach of the Year, 1969 named Cross Country Coach of the Year Class B, member of Alma College Hall of Fame, member of Michigan High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame, member of Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame, member of the Local Rotary Club, The Football and Track and Field was named in his honor.
