Roger Wing – 2024

Over 50 years in racing. Won first race at age 16. Raced Street Stocks on dirt. Open Wheel Modifieds and Late Models all on both dirt and asphalt. Also did some drag racing in the Super Stock G Class.

Driver, Owner, Builder and Mechanic on his race cars. Raced at 20+ tracks in Michigan, plus tracks in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Florida. He won 13 track championships behind the wheel. Two more with other drivers.

In 2013, he put his daughter behind the wheel, and she won a track championship in her first year. Still racing, as Crew Chief, Builder and Owner, with a young woman driver.

Roger was last seen behind the wheel himself in 2022. Inducted into the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2004. Inducted into the Crystal Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 2023.
