Honors: Boxed professionally from 1922 to 1931. Had over 200 fights losing only 10 or 12. Fought as a flyweight and bantamweight. Never lost in Lansing from 1922-1926. Flyweight champion of Michigan as of July 28, 1928. Ranked 9th in the world. Eventually lost the title to Johnny Russo. Defeated the bantamweight champion, Pee Wee Wilson, in 1930, in a non-title fight. After he lost his title, he fought quite a few boxers who went on to flight for the world flyweight and bantamweight titles.
