Honors: All-area football “56”, All-state honorable mention “56”, District Golden Glove Champion – State runner-up (175 lbs) “58”, Coach and manager state champions softball (youth div.) “75 &76”, participant “76” youth national tournament (14th out of 28 teams) state champion Class “D” Womens “83”, “84” runner-up Class B state, and midwest regional tournaments (Pro-Bowl West). “86” runner-up class A state, and national participant tied for 8th place (Pro-Bowl West). Coached and counseled many young men and women in the city with emphasis on participation and learning about life, and being meaningful contributions to the community.
