Lansing Sexton High School 1943 Boys Basketball

SPORT: Basketball

HONORS: This team was Sexton’s first champions and only lost one game during an outstanding season, which included winning the Five-A tournament and city titles. The squad lost one of its starting players, Dick Rasmussen, to service midway through the season. No state tournament was held because of World War II restrictions on gasoline, so Sexton shared the crown with Saginaw Arthur Hill who had an identical record. Coached by Al Bovard
